I've been using this for years esp. For its glossy finish. Now I do want to add that this vinyl and any other kind will not be of good quality if not pressed right. I use the firmest pressure on my press for this one. It's always about press quality. I use this on certain shirts when I want that glossy look and I love how it looks on my hoodies too.

I bought this material for football jerseys. I was very excited about getting this order, and I have had nothing but jerseys being returned because the letters are peeling right off. I use Stahls a lot. I love Stahls but am not happy with this product at all. I followed the instructions to a tee, and was quite shocked when the letters and numbers are literally falling off. I worked hard for this account and not sure if they will return next year. Not a happy camper.

I have done two batches of team football jerseys. I have awesome equipment and follow the directions to the T. Both teams have sent some jerseys back because of peeling issues. Be careful!

Does anyone know the Cut Settings for the Cameo Silhouette without using a Mat? I used a setting but it was still hard to weed. Any help is appreciated thanks!

This vinyl is very forgiving, you can have a cut in a design and it won't show after pressed, it works great with 3 layered colors, it has a very sticking backing and weeds very easy. Make sure you use enough pressure, I use about twice as much pressure as with the fashion film, premium etc. But it holds up great even when dried at a pretty high heat and you don't have to pre heat the garmet before you press so you can use it on sublimated materials. After you press it MAKE SURE TO LET IT COOL BEFORE YOU FOLD IT or there will definitely be a crease, give it 2-3 minutes and you'll be fine.

I needed a product for soccer jerseys that would not bleed. I was told that Thermo Film was the way to go. Unfortunately, this product was hard to cut and weed, even using a new 60 degree blade at 150 force. Weeding was a nightmare ~ the film constantly lifted up on basic block letters and numbers. Thankfully after reading another review, I took care not to fold the jerseys after pressing, but I still had one in which the film stuck to itself, and I had to make a new one (repressing simply ruined the film). I would not buy this product unless you have a lot of spare time to work with it.

I agree that it presses nicely - however, I have found that when I cut a thinner font for a 4" front logo - IT WAS VERY difficult to weed, I had to increase the force and cut again - it was still difficult. I finally got the job done, but I will only use this when doing bigger logos or little detail.

We absolutely LOVE this product! It cuts, weeds and layers with ease. We have had absolutely no color bleed issues with this product when using it on polyester mesh uniforms. It holds up to rigorous abuse on the field and maintains color and sheen, wash after wash. We would, however, love to see this product offered in additional colors (especially neon green) as we have to use an alternative, lower quality, vinyl to fulfill the rapidly increasing team orders we receive that require this color.

Ok I get this is a great product, but I think that it isn't great for all materials. I used this product for basketball jerseys (style A4 N2340). The fabric is listed as 100% polyester interlock. After I pressed the numbers, I folded the uniform in half for delivery. I noticed that there was a deep crease in the number that the fold was creating. So I washed and dried it to see if it would go away and it didn't. So before I delivered the products, I made sure to not fold on the number. The customer complained that I delivered creased uniforms and it was my job to press it before delivery (which I obviously did ). In the end, the customer deducted money off the amount owed due to this issue. Again a great product be keep in mind it is thicker and doesn't feel "soft" on all products.

I love thermo-film. It's the best vinyl for all types of garments. It has an excellent shine and it adheres to cotton shirts and gives it a more expensive look and feel. Will continue to purchase. Thanks Stahl's.
