The most popular use for letters and numbers is to decorate sports uniforms or jerseys. It's an easy and economical way to add a name and/or number to almost anything.

There are two main choices for decorating uniforms, Pre-Cut letters and numbers or Pre-Spaced text and numbers.

Not only can you personalize sports uniforms and jerseys, you can decorate T-shirts, sweatshirts, and bags with any type of saying or design. Personalization isn't just about a name and number anymore.
Here's a great way to add more sales: Take your heat press to a sporting event and allow customers to personalize T-shirts. You can have the event name already pre-printed then charge an additional fee for customers to add their personal name or team name.

Pre-Cut or loose letters and numbers.

This product arrives as individual letters or numbers. Each letter or number must be individually placed on the garment, then heat applied. While this is quick and economical, making sure the letters or numbers are spaced and lined up properly before heat pressing can be a challenge.

Pre-cut letters and numbers can be kept in-stock in your shop for on-demand personalization.

Pre-spaced or pre-aligned letters and numbers.

This product arrives on a mylar carrier with the name or number already pre-positioned - all you need to do is place it on a garment and heat apply. This takes the guesswork out of trying to determine the spacing between letters or numbers.

Pre-spaced products are a great time-saver when you have several team orders to fulfill.

Q:
How can I distinguish Thermo-FILM® letters/numbers from Thermo-GRIP® letters/numbers?
A:
Thermo-FILM: White color has a blue-tinted adhesive. All other colors have a cloudy, milky colored adhesive. Thermo-GRIP: White color has a green-tinted adhesive. All other colors have a clear adhesive.
Q:
Why is my Thermo-FILM® falling off after washings?
A:
The most common reason is underapplication, which can be caused by seams, buttons, zippers, etc., that do not allow the heat press to close firmly on the print. Use a pillow or print perfect pad to raise the print area.
