Care Instructions

For best results, line dry or use medium settings on a household machine. Do not bleach, dry clean, or commercially launder. Do not iron directly onto the transfer. With select printers, slight transfer bleeding in the initial laundry process may occur. Provided the product has been properly applied and laundered and bleeding occurs, simply re-launder the garment according to the provided instructions.

Storage

Always store unused paper flat in a cool, dry area in a sealed plastic bag to avoid exposure to any excess moisture.

Recommended Printers

All Ink and Bubble Jet printers.

Not recommended for use with generic inks or refilled ink cartridges.

APPLICATION TIPS

  • Once you print the design, peel away the paper backing before heat applying. Unlike other transfer paper, do NOT mirror your image before printing.
  • Put a silica gel pack into the plastic packaging to help keep moisture out.

Questions & Answers

Everyone has questions. Tell us yours.

Q:
After heat pressing, is InkTra® Opaque transfer paper peeled from the cover sheet hot or cold?
A:
We recommend using a Kraft cover sheet with InkTra Opaque. The design should be peeled cool, at least two minutes after being heat applied.
Q:
How do I know if I need InkTra® Transfer paper or ExactPrint?
A:
InkTra Transfer paper is designed to work with any inkjet or bubble jet printing system. ExactPrint is specifically designed to be used with laser printers and copiers which use fuser oil.

Q:
Is it important to use the correct pressure when applying designs to garments?
A:
The key to proper application is the correct time, temperature and pressure for the material you are heat applying. If you have too much pressure it may result in strikethrough. Not enough pressure may affect the material's adhesion.
