Owns a Several Heat Press

I used Ecoprint from Imprintables and never had a problem. This junk bleeds through really bad and is hard to get off the backing without designs coming off. Whatever you do don't order this product.

Terrible product. Never used a vinyl so hard to work with. Letters do NOT stick down and the film is almost impossibly hard to peel off the garment

I absolutely despise this stuff...I used to use Easy Weed and I can't find it on here so I tried this instead. This stuff seems extra thick, if any tiny letters pull up it refuses to stick back onto the application paper. I HATE THIS!

 Love it

If the letters come up when you weed then you are doing something wrong, I have used this for years and love it. My go to product.

Best Vinyl made for large production

I use this stuff on a daily basis. We cut all our names and numbers from Econoprint. The non-tacky backing saves us hours of production time in weeding and application. So glad you decided to keep making this product. Anyone having trouble is not using the product correctly. I use at least 300 yards a year of this stuff.

Worst vinyl I have ever used. Letters fall off as soon as I try to weed it and I spent my hard earned money. Now the products im making im actually losing money. Thanks alot Stahl's will not be shopping here again

Honestly I love most of the vinyls but this one is the cheapest which I was worried to order. If I just new before LOL. This vinyl gives you the most professional look on the garments . A+++

 Totally Rocks!

This is our standard Cad-Cut material and for good reason. Durable and simple to use, this stuff rarely peels off, and if it does it is because something went wrong with our heat press! This stuff ROCKS! If it peels up or 'lifts off from the garment', you should check the user guide, and troubleshoot your press settings....! Totally AWESOME!

 Love this!

I have had nothing but complaints with this product. I should have known to order a sample before a large lot. Constantly lifting from the garment. Just terrible. Will not order again.

 not for layering
Reviewed by Corey 3/21/2017 11:11:40 PM

it applied nice but difficult to layer due to frost backing. especially with no contrasting colours. Since it doesn't have a sticky backing I did have it place but when applying pressure caused air and shifted and know I have a design miss aligned.....well thats 50 bucks down the drain. it was good when I had use it for one colour.

Since the email came announcing econoprint to be discontinued we've been actively trying other t-shirt plotter materials with full disappointment. So far, nothing weeds as simply and quickly as EconoPrint. The sticky films cause production to slow down while we fight with the sticky film to keep it from sticking to the person working with it and everything else on the table at the time. We've also printed the inside of letters onto apparel accidentally because small bits stick to the sticky film and often go unnoticed. This item being discontinued is having us have to rethink offering single shirt orders. If the production of a small order of shirts can't be cost effective in time it defeats all purpose to offer the service. I'd like to see EconoPrint stay around or find a film that is more similar to it when cutting and weeding but I haven't found it yet.

 Great product

We use this for the bulk of our work. Don't put a stick back you will never be able to stack your work. Great for production runs.

 Waste of Money!!

The biggest flaw with this material is the non sticky back. It is very difficult to keep the material in place on tshirt and moves out of place on very slight movement. Also, even if the cut is perfect, while weeding some corners would peel off the backing paper and if you continue to press the peeled off part will show a different color. I use their other papers, compared to this their thermoform is much better. and the best paper so far i found is Imprintables (is it also part of stahls?) spectra ecolfilm. Econoprint has good thickness but it is a pain in the A to use it. while Ecofilm is very thin but it is easy to work with. I am not sure there is a workaround for this problem and i guess others are using a swing away heat press?

I remember when a started to use econoprint on the application instruction was recommended to"RESEAL" or press again 3 OR 4 SECONDS.. after peeling.but now I don't see that.. please explain Thank you

I do love this vinyl. It is easy to weed, but I lose a lot of small cuts. If it had a sticky back it would be a superior product. Plus its only a 6 second press!

Econoprint is a great Bang for the Buck
Reviewed by S. Carr 10/24/2012 12:40:39 PM

This product is great for the price, I love it. It doesn't have the sticky backing so I dont recommend small defined designs, but I got better at it. If you cut it just right(increase force on cutter) its perfect and the sticky backing you dont really care for anymore. Play with it until you get it right. I love the product, the price, and Stahls. You cant beat their prices anywhere.

 On the fence with EconoPrint
Reviewed by G Pinkney 5/3/2012 4:01:52 AM

I love the feel and look of the Econoprint but theres one thing that makes this product loose its points. What is it? Well it's the lack of a sticky backing. If you aren't right on with your cut you better hope you don't pull up the wrong section because you can not reposition it to stay on the backing and this makes it difficult and time consuming.

Review this product.
