Q:
What is the difference between CAD-CUT® Glitter and Glitter Flake?
A:
Glitter has a glittery appearance and smooth finish vs. the textured fabric-like finish on Glitter Flake.
Q:
I am looking for a material that is thinner than Thermo-FILM for my T-shirt designs. What should I use?
A:
We recommend CAD-CUT Fashion-FILM or Premium Plus. Both heat transfer materials are extremely thin, lightweight, and offer a soft hand.
Q:
Why can't I feel the texture of some of my swatches?
A:
Many CAD-CUT® heat transfer materials come on a clear plastic carrier. Some examples are Flock, Glitter Flake, Fashion-FILM™, and Premium Plus™. For these materials, you will have to peel the carrier in order to feel the texture of the material itself.
Q:
Are the recommended application time and temperature for Thermo-FILM® and Thermo-GRIP® the same?
A:
Yes. The recommended application is Temperature: 330°F; 165°C Time: 6-8 seconds, Pressure: medium, #4 on Hotronix® heat presses.
