What is RGB?

RGB Stands for Red, Green, Blue and is used primarily for electronic-sourced devices such as televisions and monitors.

What is CMYK?

CMYK Stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key Black. CMYK is used for color printing and each letter represents the color of ink being used.

How do I determine if a file is RGB or CMYK using CorelDraw® ?
A:
1) Choose the Eyedropper tool from the “Tool Box” 2) Left click on the logo
3) A reading should come up within the color fill indicator. This should specify if the file is RGB or CMYK.

What happens if a file is printed without converting to CMYK?
A:
If RGB files are used for printing, the printing software converts the file to CMYK. The representation is usually inaccurate and specific colors may change.

A bitmap is a type of graphic composed of pixels (picture elements) in a grid. Each pixel or "bit" contains color information for the image. Bitmap graphic formats have a fixed resolution which means that resizing a bitmap graphic can result in distortion and jagged edges.
