Can I cut the 3M™ Reflective 8710 material on my cutter like I can with other heat transfer materials?
A:
The paper facing on 3M Reflective 8710 is not conducive to use as a pre-spaced carrier. During heat application the paper facing will adhere itself to the garment and will not release, causing ruined garments. 3M Reflective 5807, however, can be cut with a vinyl cutter.

Why is a cover sheet necessary?
A:
A cover sheet not only protects your garment, it also protects your upper platen from stains, inks, adhesives, and scratches.
